Musculoskeletal/Sports Injury clinic

Our Musculoskeletal/Sports Injury clinic is run by Dr Peter Wilson , a GP with many additional qualifications and experience in Sports and Exercise, and Musculoskeletal Medicine working with athletes and non athletes alike.

This clinic is available to people of all ages - from children right through to those in much later life.

Dr Wilson experienced in diagnosing and treating problems and pain in the muscles and joints. An appointment would be invaluable if you have experienced a sudden injury, or have been suffering for a while with symptoms such pain, stiffness, reduced strength in areas such as:

-Back
-Neck
-Lower body including knee, hips, feet, ankles, toes
-Arms, including shoulders, wrists, fingers, elbow

Dr Wilson will be able to aid in the diagnosis and management of your condition whether that be prescribing a medication to ease your symptoms, the administration of a corticosteroid injection( see Joint injection clinic), arrangement of scans, X-rays, bloods and other investigations, or onward referral to surgical or complimentary health care professionals such as physiotherapists or occupational therapists.

Each appointment includes consultation, examination plus any onward referrals if needed
